What others have said..

I had the pleasure to work with and watch Coach Hodge at a summer basketball clinic and what a treat it was. Jonathan brought a fresh and fun approach to basketball skills as he has developed many contests and games for the kids to compete. He turned skill work into a fun adventure for the players instead of something “you have to do”. As a coach, working with Coach Hodge was a great inspiration. His positive attitude uplifts everyone around him. He takes the time to work individually with all the players, taking a genuine interest in what they need as an individual to grow. For myself, he went out of his way to answer questions I had and helped increase my knowledge of basketball, especially at the youth level. I, along with all the players at camp, left with a smile on our faces each day looking forward to the next time we could meet. The best compliment I can give to a coach is to say I want them to work more with my kids. That is definitely the case with Coach Hodge.

My daughter a 5’11 12  year old has had the opportunity to train with Coach Hodge the past two summers in NY. All of the drills and training I felt were tailored to her individually! She normally plays a 4/5 but now with all the handle skills and range she has picked up in training she can step out and play 2/3 and 4/5. She made her schools JV team as a 7th grader, and has big time varsity goals as an 8th grader this school year! We can’t thank Coach Hodge enough. His energy, enthusiasm, knowledge, and love for the game really show when he is teaching! Can’t wait till he comes back to NY! We wish the commute to MN was shorter.

I'm a mom of two sons and honestly can't think of one person I would rather having influencing my kiddos in the game of basketball, but more importantly the game of life! Jonathan Hodge is absolutely the best at what he does! His knowledge of the game is impeccable, his skill set and creativity for drills can't be matched, and his ability to work with kids and instill work ethic second to none! If you haven't had the opportunity to meet him, take the time! If you haven't had your kids work with him yet, find a way! You will never regret what he is able to do for your kids and the impact he can make! I'm am blessed that he is a part of my tribe that is raising my boys into men!

Through working with Jonathan Hodge & Hodge Hoops Training, I’ve witnessed an outstanding platform for both my sons growth in skill, mental capacity, & dedication to expand their basketball game. Jonathan does a tremendous job in producing skill sets to new levels of production. Lastly, his communication both before, during, & after training really enhance the ability to improve & increase. I’d recommend Hodge Hoops Training to Basketball communities, through & through.

Jon Hodge has the basketball knowledge and skills to develop players into the best they are capable of being. Most importantly, he cares about his players as people. With this in mind, Jon works tirelessly at meeting players where they are at from a skills, mental, and emotional perspective. He keeps a positive perspective in all situations and this perspective is imperative when training players. The combination of such a basketball mind, training expert, and genuine person who cares is ultimately what makes Jon Hodge a respected basketball training expert.
